Alpha Futures review
Excellent paper terms voided by the July 2026 payout rug — counterparty risk is disqualifying
Verdict: avoid
Confirmed payout-voiding event July 12, 2026 (including Nikita's own $884.79). Alpha later reversed course for traders already in 'approved for pay' status and began paying in batches, but traders outside that status got only a fee refund. Still delisted by every major aggregator as of Aug 2026, still off NinjaTrader/Tradovate/TradingView, and its platform vendor publicly alleged 3+ months of unpaid balances. Counterparty risk remains disqualifying regardless of paper terms.
The verdict
This Alpha Futures review is based on the firm's current rulebook, payout policy and reputation record as of September 2026 — scored the same way we score all 16 firms we track.
On paper, top-tier terms: 90/10, EOD drawdown that locks at breakeven, payouts up to 4x/month, $0 activation. Irrelevant — on 2026-07-12 Alpha killed its Premium plan and voided pending earned payouts (Nikita's $884.79 included), lost NinjaTrader/Tradovate/TradingView the same day, and was delisted by both major aggregators. A firm that cancelled approved payouts once carries real risk of doing it again. Extract anything left; buy nothing.
Still operating as of Aug 2026. Voided pending Premium payouts 2026-07-12, then partially reversed: everyone already in 'approved for pay' would be paid in batches (first batch ~10% of outstanding); traders not yet in that status got only a fee refund. Delisted by Prop Firm Match, Prop Firm Perk, PropFirmWise, PickAPropFirm and ElTraderFinanciado — no evidence of relisting. NinjaTrader and Tradovate said Alpha was in breach with balances 3+ months past due; those platforms are gone permanently. Labeled 'BLACKLISTED' by proptrusted.com.

What's not
- Voided earned payouts on 2026-07-12 — demonstrated willingness to cancel owed money
- Delisted by both major aggregators; lost NinjaTrader/Tradovate/TradingView
- Locked to proprietary AlphaTrader platform
- Serial plan churn (Standard retired → Premium launched → Premium killed → Standard relaunched)

Advanced: what changes when you pass
The 40% consistency rule applies only on the Advanced evaluation: there is NO consistency rule on Advanced Qualified accounts, so it disappears entirely on passing. There is no Scaling Plan on Advanced at either stage, so the full 5 minis / 50 micros is available at all times (the homepage Qualified card even labels it 'No Scaling Plan!'). There is no Daily Loss Guard on the Advanced evaluation or on Advanced Qualified; traders may set their own in the platform. There are no news trading restrictions at either stage, though the Prohibited Trading Practices policy still applies. The monthly subscription stops, because Qualified Traders pay no monthly fee, and resets are not offered at all on Advanced Qualified (the homepage card reads Resets: None). Profit target no longer applies; withdrawal eligibility (5 winning days of $200 or more) replaces it. MLL amount and EOD trailing behaviour are unchanged. Activation fee is $0 for accounts purchased after the 2026-07-08 announcement; it was $149 before.
After payout: No payout triggered drawdown change is published for Advanced. Per the MLL article: "Once the Maximum Loss Limit reaches the initial starting balance, it won't continue to trail."
A day counts toward payout eligibility at $200+ profit.
Direct Qualified: what changes when you pass
There is no evaluation step and therefore no eval to funded rule change: the trader starts directly on a Qualified account (simulated funds) from day one. Relative to Alpha's evaluation based plans, Direct differs in that there is no winning day requirement for payouts (evaluation based plans need 5 winning days of $200 or more); eligibility is instead a Withdrawal Profit Target of $1,500 for the first payout and $1,000 for every payout after, which resets after each request with no carry over of leftover profit; the consistency rule is 20% (vs 40% on Zero and Standard Qualified, none on Advanced Qualified); there is no Scaling Plan; news trading restrictions apply (no orders within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after a high impact red folder event); and there is no reset product at all, since the plan has no evaluation to reset.
After payout: No payout triggered drawdown change is published for Direct. Per the MLL article: "Once the Maximum Loss Limit reaches the initial starting balance, it won't continue to trail."
Standard: what changes when you pass
Consistency rule loosens from 50% (evaluation) to 40% (Qualified), and on Qualified it is measured on net profit since the last withdrawal request rather than over the whole account, resetting after each request. A $1,000 Daily Loss Guard APPEARS on Qualified: there is no Daily Loss Guard at all on the Standard evaluation. Hitting it is a soft breach that locks the account until 6PM ET the next trading day, it does not fail the account. The Scaling Plan is off during the evaluation and switches ON at Qualified: 2 minis / 20 micros below $1,500 profit, 3 minis / 30 micros from $1,500 to $2,000, and the full 5 minis / 50 micros only from $2,000 profit upward. News trading restrictions appear: evaluations have none, but on Standard Qualified no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after a high impact (red folder) news event, first violation a warning and later ones a breach. The monthly subscription stops, because Qualified Traders pay no monthly fee, but resets get MORE expensive on the Qualified side ($599 vs $109 on evaluation). Profit target no longer applies; withdrawal eligibility (5 winning days of $200 or more) replaces it. MLL amount and EOD trailing behaviour are unchanged. Activation fee is $0.
After payout: "No 'MLL slides to $0 at first withdrawal' rule. Other firms punish you for taking small payouts, not here. If MLL was at $49,200 before payout, it will be after as well." MLL also stops trailing permanently once it reaches the account starting balance.
A day counts toward payout eligibility at $200+ profit.
Zero: what changes when you pass
A 40% consistency rule appears on the Zero Qualified account: there is NO consistency rule during the Zero evaluation, which is why Zero advertises a one day pass. The 40% rule is measured on net profit accumulated since the last withdrawal request and resets after each request; breaching it does not breach the account, it only blocks the withdrawal button. News trading restrictions appear: evaluations have none, but on Zero Qualified no orders may be executed within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after a high impact (red folder) news event, with the first violation a warning and later ones a breach. The monthly subscription stops, because Qualified Traders pay no monthly fee, and the subscription automatically ends on passing. There is NO Scaling Plan on the 25K Zero Qualified account: the Zero overview table reads Scaling Rule 'No' for 25k, so the full 1 mini / 10 micros is available at both stages. The $500 Daily Loss Guard (2% of starting balance) applies at BOTH stages and is unchanged; it is a soft breach that locks the account until 6PM ET the next trading day rather than failing it. Profit target no longer applies; withdrawal eligibility (5 winning days of $200 or more) replaces it. MLL amount and EOD trailing behaviour are unchanged. Activation fee is $0 permanently on Zero.

- Data feed
- in-house AlphaTrader. TradingView connectivity RETURNED and is live again as of 2026-09-05: /platforms now carries a dedicated TradingView card reading 'Connectivity powered by Plus500, available at checkout on every plan', using your Alpha Trader credentials, and the page title is now 'Futures Trading Platforms | AlphaTrader, TradingView & WealthCharts'. NinjaTrader and Tradovate remain terminated since 2026-07-12 and appear 0 times on that page. Five platform cards total: AlphaTrader, TradingView, WealthCharts, Quantower, Deepcharts.
- Typical discount
- Code APP50 takes 50% off every Alpha Futures account, and we confirmed that against the firm's own checkout pricing rather than trusting the banner. It applies to all four plan lines including Direct Qualified, which has no evaluation stage, and it also halves the cost of an evaluation reset. No expiry is published anywhere on the site, and no use cap or per-account limit is stated. Two older offers still circulate and neither can be bought: ALPHA40 is now rejected at checkout, and the DIRECT35 column of $227/$337/$448/$558 on the Direct Qualified launch post is rejected as well.
